Job summary

The Wood Group in Weatherford, TX is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our youth crisis facility. You will provide critical care and support in a collaborative environment focused on growth and recovery.

In this full-time role, you will monitor and supervise youth in crisis, assist with meals, complete chore sheets, document daily charts, and maintain a safe, respectful environment. Training and team support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Additional training in mental health or behavioral support preferred.
• Prior experience working with youth or in a mental health setting advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Basic knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Able to work every other weekend is required.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our youth crisis facility, where we provide critical support and care for young individuals facing mental health and behavioral challenges. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth during their most vulnerable moments, working within a supportive and collaborative environment committed to growth and recovery.

Full-time shift available:

• Dayshift - 7am to 7pm (12hr rotating shift)

Below are a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:
