Job summary

Remedy Education is working with a welcoming SEMH primary school in Enfield to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to start ASAP. This role focuses on supporting pupils with SEMH needs through 1:1 and small group work, helping them access learning in a nurturing environment.

You will work closely with teachers and the pastoral team, implement IBPs, and help create a calm, inclusive classroom. An enhanced DBS is required or willingness to apply; the position is full-time, long-term with the potential for

• A calm, proactive, and empathetic approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.

Daily Rate: £100 - £130 (based on experience)
Hours: Full-time | 8:30am - 3:45pm
Contract: Long-term

Remedy Education is working with a welcoming and creative SEMH primary school in Enfield that's looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to help children overcome barriers, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive learning environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs

Supporting students with Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs)

Using a calm, child-centred approach to manage challenging behaviour

Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom experience

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and the pastoral team

Tracking pupil progress and contributing to behaviour reports
