Job summary

Missouri Department of Mental Health is seeking a Behavioral Technician to support residents in a State-operated program. The role emphasizes positive behavioral support, data collection, and collaboration with a care team to maintain safety and quality of life.

You will perform health observations, assist with daily living activities, complete documentation, and participate in crisis response as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to drive, lift up to 50 lbs, and participate in training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive behavioral support and implement behavior plans.
• Collect data and record behavior for analysis in the tracking system.
• Assist in daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Participate in crisis response and safety interventions when required.
• Document observations clearly and maintain professional boundaries.
