Job summary

Batlin Recovery Center in Marshall, Missouri seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct supervision, support, and monitoring of residents in a 24-hour residential program. You will assist with daily routines, group participation, and adherence to program rules under supervision.

Responsibilities include facilitating life skills groups, documenting observations, and collaborating with clinical staff to support individualized care plans.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, or related field preferred.
Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills.
Basic computer proficiency for EMR documentation.
Must pass background check, drug screening, and DMH trainings.

Responsibilities

Monitor residents for a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment per ASAM standards.
Conduct rounds, safety checks, and document behaviors and locations.
Assist clients with daily routines, group attendance, and activities.
Support residents in following program rules and boundaries.
Promote participation in recovery groups and medical appointments.
Foster positive communication and accountability among peers.
