Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings. You will help with daily living skills, safety, and wellbeing, providing hands-on support and documentation.

This PRN/As Needed role offers opportunities to gain experience in behavioral health and social services, with training provided for Level 1 Medication Aide and driving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• At least one year of work experience or self-employment required.
• A valid unrestricted driver's license at hire and ability to obtain MO class E license by end of 60-day period.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills and routines.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Provide basic care and assist with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities; driving required.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
