Job summary

Compass Health Network seeks a Behavioral Technician (Community Living Instructor) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings. You will help ensure safety, daily living skills, and a structured, encouraging environment.

Responsibilities include building life skills, monitoring behavior, providing basic care, and assisting with medication administration after training.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• At least one year of work experience or self-employment.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license at hire with ability to obtain class E MO license by end of 60-day period.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.

You'll provide hands-on support with daily living skills, social engagement, behavior management, and more - all while helping create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
