Job summary
Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays. You will help improve social and communication skills while following behavior plans developed by our BCBA.
Responsibilities include documenting progress and milestones, and ensuring sessions align with approved behavior plans. The role offers competitive hourly pay and various benefits; morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children with special needs.
- Strong communication skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or 1 year experience with children in related roles.
Responsibilities
- Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
- Document child progress and milestones
- Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
