Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays. The role involves implementing behavior plans and documenting progress, with hourly pay between $21 and $25.

Responsibilities include helping clients improve social and communication skills, following BCBA-created behavior plans, and ensuring sessions run smoothly. Evening hours are available, and benefits are offered through Maxim.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or related experience in child development/ABA roles.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
