Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental challenges. The position offers hourly pay of $20–$27 and supports morning, afternoon, and evening hours in a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, following behavior plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and helping clients develop social and communication skills in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or 1 year experience with children in roles like Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
