Job summary

Westfield Charter Academy in Redford, MI seeks a Title I Support Specialist to provide non-instructional services for students with behavioral needs. You will work with certified staff to monitor progress, implement interventions, and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in behavior management is preferred.
• Decisive leadership and school culture development skills preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-instructional services for Title I students with behavioral challenges.
• Monitor daily student achievement and behavior with certified staff.
• Confer with parents to plan interventions and report progress.
• Develop ongoing progress reporting for parents/guardians.
• Establish community partnerships to support behavioral and academic services.
• Lead professional development on applied behavioral analysis.
• Maintain time and effort reports for personnel funded by federal funds.
• Support attendance outreach and maintain accurate student contact records.
