Job summary

EduStaff is seeking a Behavior Specialist to conduct home visits and support school-home relations, attendance, and behavioral concerns for Title I students. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop improvement plans and coordinate meetings to address student behavior.

This role emphasizes connecting families with community resources, maintaining records, and engaging in professional development to promote student success.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or 60 credits required.
  • Two or more years of experience with behaviorally challenged youth preferred.
  • Strong communication and listening skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with student support team to strengthen school-home relationships and attendance.
  • Develop and implement behavior improvement plans for Title I students with teachers and families.
  • Organize and participate in meetings with principals, teachers, parents, and students to address behavioral challenges.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and family interactions.
  • Attend trainings to stay informed on best practices in student behavior management.
