Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• AA degree or 60 college credits required (psychology/sociology preferred).
• Alternative: ParaPro score 455+ or 15 college credits or 1.5 years relevant work with special needs.
• Must complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors student behavior and applies behavior strategies.
• Responds to behavioral crises per school procedures.
• Supports behavior components of IEPs under supervision.
• Documents day-to-day student progress and data collection.
• Builds positive relationships with students and staff.
• Participates in professional development.
