Job summary

Person Driven Clinical Solutions is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to develop individualized BSP/RPP plans and monitor their implementation. You will collect behavioral data, collaborate with families and teams, and ensure plans reflect the individual’s preferences and rights.

The role emphasizes training staff, conducting functional assessments, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to support independence and positive outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a health-related field required.
• 2–5 years behavioral support services experience.
• Knowledge of Positive Approaches, Dual Diagnosis, Person-Centered Thinking, Trauma-Informed Care.
• Excellent writing, documentation, and record-keeping; emphasis on FBA and written plans.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluation and assessment for BSP/RPP development.
• Collect and evaluate behavioral data.
• Collaborate with individual, family, and team to develop BSP/RPP.
• Conduct functional assessments of presenting issues (e.g., aggression, self-injurious behavior).
• Develop BSP/RPP; ensure plans are Person Driven and reflect core clinical needs.
• Train and mentor staff on BSP/RPP; implement strategies identified.
• Monitor BSP/RPP implementation and collect/analyze data.
• Annual BSP/RPP review and ISP participation; obtain signatures via DocuSign.
• Attend psychiatric, medical, and therapy appointments as needed.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team and ISP meetings; protect human rights.
