Job summary

NeuSpark PDS seeks a Behavior Intervention Specialist to assess behavioral needs of individuals with developmental disabilities in OPWDD programs. You will develop and implement behavior support plans, train staff, and monitor progress to promote independence and quality of life.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team, data-driven decision making, and adherence to OPWDD guidelines to ensure person-centered, trauma-informed interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral observations, interviews, and functional assessments.
• Develop and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans based on data.
• Provide direct behavioral support and coaching to individuals and staff.
• Collect, document, and analyze behavioral data to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with psychologists, clinicians, nurses, care managers, families, and DSPs.
• Maintain accurate clinical and behavioral documentation and review incident reports.
