Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 settings.

You will work one-on-one and with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized behavior plans, track progress, and ensure a safe, supportive classroom environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• One-on-one support to meet goals in the student’s IEP with accommodations and modifications as needed.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Apply de‑escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary for safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment to develop social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during transit to/from school locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support based on student needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
