Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Behavioral Specialist to work with adults with Autism/ID/DD in community-based settings in the United States.

The role requires developing and implementing behavior support plans in collaboration with families and care teams. The candidate will conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, train staff and family members, and manage data collection and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with individuals with Autism/ID/DD.
• Master's degree or PA Behavior Specialist license.
• Completed state training for Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and Post Test Certification, or willingness to complete.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance; clean driving record and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Observe participants and collaborate with family to develop a behavior support plan.
• Complete FBAs through comprehensive functional assessments.
• Conduct training related to implementation of behavior support plans for staff, the participant, and families.
• Complete required paperwork including data collection, progress reports, monthly/quarterly reports and annual planning materials.
