Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Behavioral Specialist to work with adults receiving community, work, and home-based services.

You will partner with families and the care team to set individualized goals and improve daily life experiences. Responsibilities include observing participants, developing and implementing positive behavior support plans, completing FBAs, training staff and families, and managing data and monthly/annual reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA or PA Behavior Specialist License.
• Complete state training in Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) with Post Test Certification or willingness to complete during application process
• Valid driver's license, vehicle registration and auto insurance for provided services
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Observe participants and collaborate with family and team to develop and revise a positive behavior support plan.
• Complete FBAs through comprehensive functional assessments.
• Conduct training on behavior support plan implementation with staff, participants and families.
• Complete required paperwork including data collection, progress reports and annual planning materials
