Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Behavioral Specialist to support adults with developmental disabilities in community, work, and home settings.

The role focuses on observing participants, developing and revising positive behavior support plans, and conducting FBAs with families and staff. Responsibilities include staff training on plan implementation, data collection, and reporting; plus completing annual planning materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA or PA Behavior Specialist License.
• Complete state training conducting and using a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) or willingness to complete during application.

Responsibilities

• Observe the participant in various settings and collaborate with family and team to develop and implement a positive behavior support plan and revise as needed.
• Complete FBAs by conducting comprehensive functional assessments of participant's presenting issues.
• Conduct training related to the implementation of behavior support plans with staff, the participant, family members and caretakers.
• Complete required paperwork related to data collection, progress reporting, monthly/quarterly reports and development of annual planning material.
