Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Specialist to support adults with special needs in community, work, and home-based settings.

The role involves observing participants, developing and revising behavior support plans, and coordinating with families and staff to implement effective strategies. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience with Autism/ID/DD, a Master's degree (or PA Behavior Specialist License), FBA training, and a driving record

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Observe the participant in various settings; collaborate with family and team to develop and implement a positive behavior support plan.
• Complete FBAs by conducting comprehensive functional assessments of participant's presenting issues.
• Conduct training related to the implementation of behavior support plans with staff, the participant, their family members and caretakers.
• Complete required paperwork related to data collection, progress reporting, monthly/quarterly reports and development of annual planning material.

Education

Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or PA Behavior Specialist License
