Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass applicable background check.
• Experience with students with behavioral or emotional needs (preferred).
• Training in school-approved de-escalation program (preferred).
• Experience collecting behavioral data or implementing intervention strategies (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by teachers or behavior specialists.
• Reinforce positive behavior strategies using PBIS and social-emotional coaching.
• Provide de-escalation support to help students regain emotional control.
• Assist students with self-regulation and social skills in lessons and real-time situations.
• Monitor student behavior and intervene to maintain safety and order.
• Supervise students across classrooms and common areas to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and specialists to support student success.
