Job summary

The Independent Living Association (ILA) in Staten Island, NY seeks a licensed psychologist to provide psychological services in our IRA residences. You will assess consumer functioning, report findings to the IDT, and help develop behavioral plans.

The role includes training staff, monitoring progress with behavioral data, coordinating with psychiatrists and other providers, and ensuring HIPAA confidentiality. A Masters in Psychology and 1-3 years’ experience with the DD population are required.

Qualifications

• Masters in Psychology or related field required.
• 1–3 years of experience working with the DD population; computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Assess consumer functioning using standardized instruments and observations.
• Report findings to the IDT and track consumer progress at meetings.
• Develop behavioral treatment/monitoring plans and staff trainings.
• Monitor progress via data reviews and prepare semi-annual reports.
• Advocate for individuals with external MH/behavioral services and coordinate care.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and participate in regular team meetings.
