The Role

Cash App is seeking a Behavioral Insights Fraud Analyst to join our dynamic Behavioral Insights Team. The role involves analyzing large structured and unstructured data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and inauthentic behaviors across Cash App accounts and products. This position requires independent decision-making, high attention to detail, and collaboration with various internal teams to drive fraud prevention strategies.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent analytical and communication skills, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and is self-motivated. This role is remote and can be performed from any location in the United States.

You Will

• Become an expert on customer behaviors and activity patterns within Cash App’s ecosystem
• Investigate and analyze complex data to resolve business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
• Partner with internal teams to identify emerging fraud trends and assess customer impact
• Respond promptly to internal partners, demonstrating excellent communication skills
• Plan, organize, and prioritize projects independently while managing overlapping deadlines
• Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and innovation

You Have

• 3+ years experience in risk and/or fraud detection in financial services or technology, focusing on KYC/CIP/onboarding processes
• Experience working with machine learning teams
• Strong writing and editing skills, with minimal rework needed
• Experience collaborating across countries and time zones
• Ability to synthesize information and recommend clear actions
• Ability to manage multiple assignments independently

Even Better

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields such as Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics
• Certifications like CFE, ACAMS, or similar
• SQL experience
