The Role

Cash App is seeking a Behavioral Insights Fraud Analyst, Bitcoin to join our dynamic Behavioral Insights Team. A Behavioral Insights Fraud Analyst leverages analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze large data sets, identify trends, anomalies, and inauthentic behaviors across Cash App accounts and products. This role requires independent decision-making, high precision, and attention to detail.

You Will

• Become an expert on customer behaviors and activity within Cash App’s ecosystem
• Master the Bitcoin domain related to risk behaviors and their impact on Cash App
• Investigate and analyze complex data sets to resolve business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
• Analyze risks within product offerings, focusing on detail-oriented tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify emerging fraud trends and assess customer impact
• Respond promptly to internal partners with clear communication
• Take initiative, organize, and prioritize projects independently; work collaboratively in a team environment
• Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and innovation
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

You Have

• 3+ years experience in risk or fraud detection in financial services or technology, with a focus on Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies
• At least 1 year of experience working directly with cryptocurrencies
• Experience with blockchain analytics tools such as TRM, Chainalysis, Alterya
• Experience collaborating with machine learning teams
• Strong writing skills and ability to produce clear documentation
• Ability to work across different countries and time zones
• Ability to synthesize information and recommend actions
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
• Certifications such as CFE, ACAMS
• SQL experience
