Job summary

Sentara Health in Richmond, VA is hiring a Behavior Health Utilization Management Care Coordinator to support members who are medically and behaviorally complex. The role requires both in-person assessments and remote telephonic assessments for serious mental illness, SED (ages 2+) and substance use disorders, with standard hours 8am to 5pm EST.

Qualified applicants have a Bachelor's degree and hold an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSTAP, or RN license in VA or NC, plus 2 years behavioral health and 1 year

Qualifications

• 2 years of behavioral health experience required.
• 1 year of case management experience required.
• 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate utilization management for behavioral health cases.
• Conduct in-person and telephonic assessments for medically and behaviorally complex members.
• Collaborate with Sentara Health Plans to optimize member care.
