Job summary

AtlantiCare Behavioral Health in Egg Harbor Township, NJ is seeking a Therapist I to provide individual, family, and group therapy under supervision of a licensed practitioner. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based modalities to diverse clients.

Required are a Master’s in behavioral health and NJ LAC or LSW licensure, plus at least two years in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health with NJ LAC or LSW licensure required.
• Two years of behavioral health experience.
• Ability to conduct therapy sessions in the language of the population served, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes bio-psychosocial assessments and prepares comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provides individual, family, group, addiction and other modalities as competency allows.
• Maintains timely progress notes and documents treatment within established time frames.
• Performs crisis intervention and coordinates with external providers.
• Assists with case management and interagency referrals as needed.
