Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring weekend Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to support residential operations across our recovery centers. You will be involved in intake, supervision, transportation, and activities that promote a safe, respectful recovery environment.

You will train the BHT team, respond to crises, supervise daily routines, and help maintain client morale. A compassionate, firm presence with leadership would thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.

We have all shifts available:

First shift (7am-3pm), second shift (3pm-11pm) and third shift (11pm-7am).

What You'll Do
