Avenues Recovery Center in Richmond, VA, seeks a BHT Shift Supervisor for our new inpatient Detox and Residential facility. The overnight shift runs 11pm-7am and requires strong leadership to support clinical teams, ensure safety, and maintain program standards.

Responsibilities include supervising BHTs, coordinating admissions, transportation, meals, and documentation, while fostering a compassionate environment that supports recovery. A stable, empathetic presence is essential to client care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones).
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce all policies to ensure safety of clients and staff.
• Record and elevate critical communications/incidents promptly.
• Fulfill administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support).
• Oversee all BHTs on shift, providing training and support.

a BHT Shift Supervisor for our new inpatient Detox and Residential treatment facility in Richmond, VA!

Shift: Overnights, 11pm-7am

What You\'ll Do

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and elevate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
• Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support

What We\'re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
• Dignified character that models recovery principles
