OhioHealth is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Behavioral Health Unit to provide hygiene, comfort, and safety for patients under RN supervision. You will assist with psycho-educational groups, document data, and support daily living activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, CPI training, and 1–2 years in health care crisis intervention or as a clinical assistant. Evening shift, 32 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• High School or GED required; BLS certification and CPI training preferred or to be maintained.
• Patient Care Tech training or equivalent with proof of completion.
• Six months of experience as a clinical assistant or patient care assistant.

Aufgaben

• Assists in providing care under supervision of an RN, including hygiene, comfort, and safety needs.
• Documents observations and patient data in accordance with hospital policy.
• Organizes and conducts psycho-educational and symptom management groups under direction of an RN.
• Assists with personal care, elimination, nutrition, and basic treatment procedures under supervision.
• Maintains infection control procedures and environmental safety.
