Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to join our multidisciplinary team. The role provides direct patient care under supervision of RN/physician, delivering care, monitoring patients, and facilitating the therapeutic milieu.

The position includes nights, weekdays and weekends; requires BLS certification, and preferred CNA or EMT. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, safety focus, and the ability to handle high-risk situations.

Formación

• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• CNA or EMT preferred.
• Experience with psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with daily living tasks and document care procedures.
• Orient patients to units and transport to appointments as needed.
• Maintain a safe environment and monitor patient safety per care plan.
• Participate in regulatory activities and quality improvement tasks.
• Provide support during behavioral health interventions and groups.
