Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for all shifts to support daily residential operations in a 40-bed facility nestled in the Pocono Mountains.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and a warm, empathetic leadership style with strong boundary setting. Experience in recovery is valued; sobriety in recovery may meet the requirement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsabilités

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
