Job summary

Aspire Health Partners in Orlando, FL is hiring a Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) for residential and acute care settings. The role focuses on delivering quality patient care, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting both clinical and nursing staff within a structured program.

Pay rates are $15.50 per hour for residential programs and $16 per hour for acute care. Remote work is not available, and driving is required. Must be over 21 with a clean driving record for insurance purposes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Level II background clearance required for Aspire internships/careers.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Assist in admission and discharge of clients and address needs.
• Conduct rounds every 15 minutes to ensure clients are safe and in the right areas.
• Supervise clients and document changes or unusual behavior.
• Assist therapy and nursing staff with group activities and daily unit management.
• Maintain daily program schedule and engage participants in activities.
• Administer, analyze, and document participant drug screenings.
• Provide supervised self-administration of medications when applicable.
• Document treatment details in the Electronic Health Record.
• Communicate program needs and issues to the team.
• Assist the program team with operations as directed.
• Monitor participants per program specifications.
• Complete ongoing training and participate in staff meetings.
• Monitor social activities and client visitations as directed.
