Job summary

Aspire Health Partners, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) in Cocoa, FL to provide essential patient care and support in a dynamic behavioral health environment.

The role involves monitoring clients, supporting admissions/discharges, and collaborating with therapy and nursing staff to maintain a safe, therapeutic unit. Remote work is not available, and driving is required in many cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Level II Background clearance required.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Assist in admission and discharge, recognizing and addressing client needs.
• Conduct client rounds every 15 minutes to ensure wellbeing.
• Maintain supervision of clients and document changes or unusual behavior.
• Assist therapy and nursing staff in group activities and daily unit management.
• Maintain daily program schedule and engage participants in activities.
• Administer, analyze and document participant drug screenings.
• Provide supervised self-administration of medication when applicable.
• Document treatment details in the Electronic Health Record.
• Provide ongoing communication to the program team regarding changes or needs of participants.
• Assist the program team with program operations.
• Maintain regular observation of participants per program specifications.
• Complete ongoing training and attend staff meetings as directed.
• Monitor social activities and visitations as directed by management.
