Job summary

Aspire Health Partners in Florida seeks a Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) to join our residential programs and contribute to safe, compassionate patient care. You will assist with admissions and discharges, monitor clients with 15-minute rounds, and support both therapy and nursing staff in daily unit operations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, possible BLS certification, Level II background clearance, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Level II background clearance required (Aspire covers fingerprinting costs).
• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Assist in admission and discharge of clients, addressing needs.
• Conduct client rounds every 15 minutes to ensure safety and proper placement.
• Maintain supervision of clients and document changes or unusual behavior.
• Support therapy and nursing staff in group activities and daily unit management.
• Maintain daily program schedule and ensure engagement in activities.
• Administer, analyze and document participant drug screenings.
• Provide supervised self-administration of medication when applicable.
• Document treatment details in the Electronic Health Record.
• Communicate program changes or needs to the team.
• Assist the program team with operations and compliance.
