Job summary

Channel ABA seeks compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to join our Enhanced Program serving children and adolescents with complex behavioral needs across Central Pennsylvania. You will implement ABA plans under BCBA supervision, teaching essential skills and collecting data.

The role offers weekend and 2–3 evenings per week, with competitive pay of $35.00/hour, paid training, and opportunities for career growth. Travel to client sites and clinical collaboration are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred; completion of 40-hour RBT training (3rd edition preferred).
• Experience with children/adolescents with complex behavior challenges; autism/developmental delays preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in challenging situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable transportation and travel to client locations (up to 45 minutes).

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans under supervision of BCBA or Behavior Consultant.
• Teach communication, social, adaptive living, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
• Support clients in home, community, school, and other environments.
• Collect accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.
• Implement crisis prevention, de-escalation, and safety procedures when needed.
