Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work under a BCBA to implement individualized plans in homes, schools, and community settings.

You will collect data, teach life skills, and help clients build communication, social, and self-care abilities while maintaining a supportive environment.

Travel to client sites is required; training is provided. Competitive pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow behavior plans and accurately collect data.
• Willingness to travel to homes, schools, and community settings.

• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement tailored Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA to address the unique needs of each client.
• Provide direct, one-on-one support using ABA techniques, including discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching, and behavior management.
• Collect and document data on client behavior and progress with accuracy using designated tools.
• Support clients in developing functional skills across areas like communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Create and maintain a positive, encouraging environment that promotes engagement, learning, and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to track progress, adjust strategies as necessary, and maintain consistency across settings.
• Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and other professionals, providing updates and relevant information.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to expand your understanding and expertise in ABA.
