Job description

Our Behavioral Health Technician Driver is a direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment and providing transportation services. The Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center has served local communities for more than 40 years, providing treatment through structured programs guiding our clients through detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment, and family education for both men and women. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in Charlotte Hall offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for our clients to help develop the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Complete the intake process with new clients into program.
2. Maintain client documentation.
3. Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
4. Coordinate client activities.
5. Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs.
6. Provide client transportation.
7. Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide response including crisis intervention.
8. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
9. Assist with the dietary needs of clients.
10. Transport clients to and from specified locations within expected time frames.
11. Supervise and support clients while transporting.
12. Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided.
13. Complete all required trainings.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health experience. Experience facilitating process groups and family sessions.
