Job summary

Emerald City Enhanced Services is seeking a Behavioral/Mental Health Technician (BHT/MHT) for full-time days at our Lakewood, WA facility. The role supports adults with behavioral health needs in a 16-bed setting, with shifts 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Starting pay is $21-$23 per hour plus 5% weekend and 10% night shift differentials. You will work closely with licensed staff, assist with daily living activities, document progress, and help implement treatment plans in a

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral/mental health or direct care preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Active NAC or HCA credential in Washington State required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily support to residents in the 16-bed facility.
• Encourage participation in life skills, groups and recreational activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living including meals, hygiene, and personal care.
• Support licensed staff in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Accurately document resident progress and interventions.
• Implement an in-house food program with minimal meal preparations.
• Support evolving operation workflows and adapt to changes as the program grows.
• Promote a safe, respectful and therapeutic environment.
