Job summary

Emerald City Enhanced Services LLC in Lakewood, WA seeks a Behavioral/Mental Health Technician (BHT/MHT) for full-time day shift. 16-bed facility, starting pay $21–$23/hr, plus 5% weekend and 10% night differentials. Sunday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral/mental health, long-term care or direct support.
• Strong passion for mental and behavioral health and learning.
• Compassion, patience and calmness in challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily support to residents in a 16-bed facility.
• Encourage participation in life skills, groups and activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living including meals, hygiene, personal care.
• Support licensed staff with individualized treatment plans.
• Document resident progress and interventions accurately.
• Implement in-house food program with minimal meal prep.
• Support evolving workflows and adapt to program growth.
• Promote a safe, respectful and therapeutic environment.
