Job summary

Lifeline Connections in Washington state seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support residents in the Involuntary Treatment Program under supervision. The role provides counseling, safety monitoring, and short-term interventions to adults with co-occurring conditions to stabilize in the least restrictive setting.

You will participate in treatment planning, lead groups, document progress, and collaborate with the treatment team, families, and outside professionals.

Qualifications

• Needs ability to work under supervision of Program Director.
• Experience in behavioral health recommended.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the care, safety, and supervision of residents on the therapeutic milieu.
• Utilize care plans and de-escalation techniques appropriate to residents' needs.
• Monitor milieu, program schedules, and activities.
• Collect, record, and summarize observed client behavior; maintain observation levels.
• Support treatment planning and day-to-day recovery activities as part of the team.
• Facilitate and conduct groups; collaborate with treatment team, families, and outside professionals.
• Attend trainings and staff development activities; uphold Lifeline’s mission and objectives.
• Assist participants with admissions and discharge planning; maintain clinical files as required.
