Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician I in a role focused on direct client care in residential and withdrawal management settings. You will monitor health indicators, assist with medication administration, document clinical data, and respond to crises while maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.

The position offers opportunities to work part-time or full-time with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends, and emphasizes compassionate, detail-oriented care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of responsible employment.
• Knowledge of confidentiality laws in behavioral health.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret safety and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate when necessary.
• Oversee and document medication administration.
• Monitor OTC medications and maintain inventory.
• Document blood glucose levels and maintain equipment.
• Conduct supervision checks per safety plans and procedures.
• Assist clients with personal care when necessary.
