Job summary

Cottonwood Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to support the therapeutic milieu under RN direction, deliver the daily schedule, supervise patients, and uphold safety with dignity.

The facility emphasizes trauma-informed, team-centered care in a 108-bed setting for adult mental health and substance use treatment, offering comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.
• 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensuring that the schedule/program is delivered.
• Supervise patients and maintain safety.
• Treat patients and guests with respect and dignity.

Cottonwood Springs is a 108-bed behavioral health facility offering adult mental health and substance use treatment services. The facility includes four 24-bed units (Meadows, Sunrise, Cedars, and Prairie) and one 12-bed unit (Sunflower), specializing in depression, anxiety, psychosis, thought disorders, and substance detoxification.

Cottonwood Springs fosters a trauma-informed, team-centered culture where RNs and BHTs work collaboratively and are equally valued. What we’re looking for
