Job summary

Cottonwood Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to support the therapeutic milieu under RN supervision in a 108-bed facility offering adult mental health and substance use treatment. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and collaborative care within a trauma-informed, team-centered culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and de-escalation certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensuring scheduled programs are delivered, and patients are supervised with safety and dignity.
• Contribute to a trauma-informed, team-centered culture and help maintain a respectful environment for patients and guests.

Cottonwood Springs is a 108-bed behavioral health facility offering adult mental health and substance use treatment services. The facility includes four 24-bed units (Meadows, Sunrise, Cedars, and Prairie) and one 12-bed unit (Sunflower), specializing in depression, anxiety, psychosis, thought disorders, and substance detoxification.

Cottonwood Springs fosters a trauma-informed, team-centered culture where RNs and BHTs work collaboratively and are equally valued.
