Job summary

Cottonwood Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Behavioral Health Tech to support the therapeutic milieu and deliver scheduled programs under RN supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, dignity, and collaborative care within a 108-bed behavioral health facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.
• 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the therapeutic milieu under RN direction, ensuring schedule/program delivery.
• Supervise patients, maintain safety, and treat patients and guests with respect and dignity.
• Assist with daily activities and de-escalation as part of frontline care.
• Collaborate with RNs and a trauma-informed, team-centered culture.
