HavenRise Academy in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support adolescents in treatment and help structure daily programming. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team in a mission-driven environment.

As a BHT, you will monitor client safety, assist with therapy sessions, and document progress in the EMR while contributing to a supportive, collaborative setting. The position is full-time, on-site, with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adolescents in behavioral/mental health settings is preferred.
• Strong communication, empathy, and crisis-management skills are essential.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and support adolescents in treatment.
• Assist with daily programming, including therapy sessions, structured activities, and activity transitions.
• Monitor client safety, manage behavioral challenges, and use de-escalation techniques.
• Document participation, behaviors, and progress in the EMR.

Your Role

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $16 – $20, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
