Qualifications

• 2 years’ prior experience in Behavioral Health services is preferred.
• Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT is favorable.
• Training opportunities available for those without certification.

Responsibilities

About your Role:

NOW INTERVIEWING FOR THE UPCOMING 2025/2026 SCHOOL YEAR.

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With the support and guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention. You will travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily, following the prescribed treatment plan and providing behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences. You will set boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency on your services, while also supporting parents and adult professionals. Educating and training parents/young adults to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement, and ensuring culturally aware and competent service provision are essential.

Does the following apply to you?

Ability to pass PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances, and at least one of the following:

• Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
• 2 years’ prior Behavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization.
• High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification (or ability to complete within the first 10 days of hire, paid training).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing Behavioral Health services.
