Qualifications

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) FT and PT

Join to apply for the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) role at TeamCare Behavioral Health.

The BHT provides one-to-one assistance to children and adolescents, following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom, community, and home environments.

Location

Lancaster County

Responsibilities
  • Prompt interventions in behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
  • Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
  • Complete initial and annual training as required.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and team members to ensure compliance with CASSP.
Qualifications for Success
  • Passion for patient care and making positive changes.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn other applications.
  • Ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
  • Valid PA Driver's license.
  • Certification as a BCaBA, RBT, BCAT, or related certification, or HS diploma/equivalent with willingness to complete 40-hour RBT training, or minimum 2 years' experience in behavioral health services.
