Job summary

Achieving True Self is looking for a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to join their team. In this role, you'll implement ABA techniques, support children with behavioral challenges, and receive paid training to become certified. Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing as a Behavior Technician:

  • Make a difference:Help children thrive by creating an environment where learning is fun, exciting, and personalized to each child’s unique needs.
  • Implement ABA techniques:Use individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans to support children and their families.
  • Collect data and document progressusing our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with families:Support parents and caregivers in implementing behavior strategies to foster success at home and in the community.

  • Professional experiencewith children or individuals with disabilities (e.g., Nanny, Teacher, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, etc.) OR relevant educational background in psychology, sociology, education, or related fields
  • Ahigh school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old
  • Avalid driver’s licenseand reliable transportation (ride-sharing or public transportation are not permitted for this position)
  • Ability to workevenings and after-school hours(client sessions are typically 2-6 hours long, Monday through Friday)
  • Willingness to start part-timewhile your caseload grows
  • Comfort usingtechnologyfor documentation and administrative tasks
