Job Summary

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC offers direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention for clients aged 2 to 21 in homes, schools, daycares, and community settings. The onsite position pays $20-25 per hour and provides full‑time and part‑time hours with flexible morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant and Assistant‑Behavior Consultant to implement individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence‑based interventions focused on social skills, life skills, and adaptive functioning.

• Conduct daily paperwork, collect and analyze data, and submit weekly reports.

• Ensure compliance with IBHS regulations and MCO guidelines while meeting treatment goals outlined in Individualized Treatment Plans.

• Ability to follow Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans, collect and analyze data, and adapt interventions.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no prior work experience; or
• Bachelor’s degree in any other field with at least one year of full‑time paid work experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents; or
• Associate’s degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor’s degree with three years of full‑time paid work experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents; or
• Licensed practical nurse with at least three years of full‑time paid work experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents; or
• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a 40‑hour training covering the RBT task list, as evidenced by a certification from a BCBA or BC‑ABA certified trainer; or
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Background & Clearance Requirements

Staff must have appropriate background checks, degree transcripts, FBI clearances, and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete NSOR verification and hold an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).

Compensation

$20-25 per hour.
