As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC, you'll play a crucial role in providing direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals between the ages of 2 to 21. Working under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) and Assistant-Behavior Consultant (A-BC), you'll implement treatment plans in various settings like homes, schools, daycares, and the community. Your responsibilities include delivering interventions focused on social skills, life skills, and adaptive functioning to transfer skills proactively to clients and caregivers. You will also engage in direct client interaction, conduct necessary paperwork daily, and submit weekly reports to the office for review.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting individuals with behavioral health needs. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team are essential. The ability to follow individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans, collect and analyze data, and adapt interventions as needed are critical. Candidates should also be committed to ongoing learning and professional development to effectively implement evidence-based practices.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
