As a BHT/RBT at Matrix Behavior Solutions, you will have the opportunity to directly impact clients’ lives through evidence‑based interventions and compassionate care. The onsite position offers competitive pay of $20–25 per hour and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

You will provide direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals between the ages of 2 to 21, working under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) and Assistant‑Behavior Consultant (A‑BC). You will implement treatment plans in various settings such as homes, schools, daycares, and the community, delivering interventions focused on social skills, life skills, and adaptive functioning. You will also participate in ongoing training and supervision, prepare daily paperwork, and submit weekly reports to the office.

Qualifications

• Persons with a bachelor level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no previous work experience; or
• Persons with a bachelor level degree in any other field with at least 1 year of full‑time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents; or
• Persons with an associate level degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor‑level degree with 3 years of full‑time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents; or
• Licensed practical nurse with at least 3 years of full‑time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents.
• Have a high school diploma or the equivalent and have completed a 40‑hour training covering the RBT Task list, evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BC‑ABA.
• MUST have a driver’s license.
• Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
• Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting individuals with behavioral health needs.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to follow individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans, collect and analyze data, and adapt interventions as needed.

Compensation

Salary: $20 – $25 per hour.
